L’île de Black Mor : the heroes

The Kid :

The Kid is the hero : he is fifteen. He has got long straight black hair, black eyes and a long nose. He’s slim but he is quite strong. He often wears a blue jacket. He ’s British from Cornwall. He escaped from an orphanage because he always dreams of freedom and he has got a map of Black Mor island. He can’t read but he can sail and swim. He is very courageous and clever. He wants to sail on a very big boat and find a treasure and his father. Then he loves "Petit Moine", a very intelligent girl.

Petit Moine :

Petit Moine is fifteen too. She has got short red hair and black eyes. She is not very tall but she is very sporty and she always wears boys’ clothes. She can sail too and she can read and write. She doesn’t want money but she wants freedom. She is generous and supportive : she helps The Kid to read the book about Pirates.

The Kid has got a lot of friends.

Mac Gregor :

Mac Gregor is an old man of about fifty. He has got short black hair, black eyes and a big nose. He is handicapped. So he can’t walk. He’s very poor and he loves money. So he wants to find treasures. His best friend is La Ficelle

La Ficelle :

La Ficelle is very tall and thin. He ’s got long straight blond hair, blue eyes and a small nose. We think he is twenty. He’s very clever because he can throw knives. He helps Mac Gregor, and can carry him because he is quite strong. He likes treasures too.

The kid and his friends find a black boy in the boat. His name is Taka.

Taka :

He’s tall and slim. He has got black eyes, a small beard but no hair. He is very strong and he can carry very big boxes. He has got a pet, a little monkey called Jim.

Jim :

Jim is very clever, he can write , and very happy too. He always wears a red and white hat.

Mister Forbes :

Mister Forbes is a teacher and sailor. He is an old man with long straight grey hair. He always reads the book about Black Mor and he helps the Kid to know about his father and to find a treasure.

Black Mor :

Black Mor is a Welsh pirate. He’s tall and slim with a very long beard and long black hair. He wears a long black coat and a hat. He has got an iron hand and he can’t speak.

We think it’sa good movie but sometimes it’s sad.
